Last Wk of Insanity/less Raw eating though

Since starting my raw food journey, I've been at it for over 3 mos., I can say that the easy thing about it is to keep it simple. Dehydrating takes a long time, plus I can't have nuts and seeds like I used to, so I'm very limited on what I can eat.

So I'm at 75% raw most of the time. I am eating fruits, vegetables and gluten free grain, because the gluten protein in bread makes me congested.

I worked out to pure cardio this morning and cardio abs. This is my last week of month 1. I sweated as usual. I had to take breaks. I worked out 1 week, then I took a week off, because I hurt my knee. Then I worked another week and took another week off, because I had to work alot of overtime. I mean back to back. Now I'm am steady. No more breaks. My knees are fine and I won't be doing alot of overtime like before.

My husband is saying my behind is disappearing though and that my legs look like their shaped like a body builder. What flattery. He meant every word too.

MY 2nd WEEK RESULTS

I'm excited to say that I have gotten stronger. I took the 2nd fit test and here are my results;

SW - 70
PJ - 44
PK - 97
PJps - 20
GJ - 7
SJ - 10
PUJ - 10
LPO - 12

This is one workout that I love to stretch and cool down on. I sweat so much and I love it, because you can definitely see the inches melt away.

Working out and eating raw will get you slimmer faster, but its health benefits is like no other.

I did alternate my raw eating, because of Thanksgiving, I have to live you know. I make pumpkins cookies, potatoe chips, dried fruits, sweet potato chips with my dehydrator and alot more things. I just have an allergy to nuts and seeds now. I don't know what to eat, so I'm seeing my doctor in 2wks to figure this out. I began to break out in hives from eating them, even when I soak them.

There is a way, a I will find it. But for now I'm enjoying the way my abs look. I do more pushups then in any other time in my life now.

1 week in Insanity

My workout was INSANE. This is the first time I worked out and my eyebrows didn't catch my sweat.

I love being soaked, because it shows that I am working my but off to get in shape. I've lost inches and it is noticable. I will weight myself next week when I do the fit test again. I am eating soup, smoothies and green juice/other juices until the middle of December 09.

I notice that I'm constantly wanting to put something in my mouth. My metabolism is up the roof. I need less sleep and the alarm clock can go in the trash as far as I'm concerned.

Raw Food & Fitness is what I am. As long as I eat 75 to 80% raw, I am a raw foodist, because my skin shows it.

WHAT A RAW FITNESS DAY!!

Today I had 32ozs of green smoothie, watermelon juice and 64ozs of green juice (spinach, collards, apples and peaches)

I also, get this... Got Insane with the Insanity workout. I did the fit test and Plyometric cardio circuit. Wow!. I pushed myself so hard. I sweated like no other workout that I've ever done.

Fit test result:

Switch kicks - 46
Power Jacks - 25
Power Kness - 88
Power Jumps - 13
Globe Jumps - 4
Suicide Jumps -6
Push up Jacks -4
Low Plank Oblique - 12

I've never in my life been so exited about a work out. Since I started on a Wednesday, my rest day off will be Sun, Nov. 22nd.

Since I'm juicing and I need the energy to go through this, I drunk my green smoothie throughout the workout (24ounces).

The body that I want is going to take place. My weight today is 160 on my 5ft 2in frame. My GW is 135, but I know I will be under that by eating raw and healthy.

Worked out to good ole Billy B

Today I had a half gallon of green juice (apples, peaches, spinach), a mango/orange smoothie with vegetable soup (not raw).

I'll be working out to Billy B Boot camp to get myself ready to start insanity on 11/16/09.

One of my children lost my resistance bands, but I still got a good work out. Since I've been exercising, pushups and me don't seem to go well, so I modify it and do them on my knees. I know after insanity, I'll be strong enough to do at least 20 push ups. Now I can only do 4. Sad, but I'm going to keep pushing.

My New Journey Begins

Often I've been a Beachbody devotee. I've ordered turbo jam, rockin abs, P90x, charlene extreme and finally Insanity by shawn tee (starting 11/16/09)

While on these programs, I've eaten good sometimes, but never on on the raw food lifestyle.

I've been raw fooding for over 3 months and that came about mostly on a juicing regimen. I juice by using the blender and a nut milk bag that I purchased on line. I use my poor juiceman juicer for carrots, so not to wear down my blender blades.

I am blogging, because after reading so many blogs, I feel that it's time for me to do the same. Everyone has a different journey and this is mines.
