I started a 30 day smoothie challenge, today 1/25/10 being day 5, but I think its going to last longer. I dropped 3lbs in a day, by having green smoothies, some chicken/vegetable soup (homemade), a few potatoe chips, and a few ounces of turkey breast. But mostly it was the 64 ounces of greem smoothie juice that I drinked. Delicious.
I bought a new scale that tells the truth. And I'm looking forward to being 135lbs by April. I may loose it sooner, but I'm going to eat clean for life. I love this stuff.
When you juice or drink green smoothies, your appetite is deeply suppressed. That's why I went close to 90 days on a juice fast, mostly green juice. The weight was coming off so fast I got scared and started eating grains and sugar products again, no more.
I've learned that if my weight loss is going fast let it, because it will eventually slow down. Fat disappears and there's nothing left but beautiful muscles.
From doing Insanity for that month, I am able to do over 20 pushups, no knees. Exciting. I did insanity today for close to an hour, not fun, but I just had to do it. At least, I can take a day off. I have to pace myself with a program like this. My knees can't take all the jumping.
What works best for me in weight loss and I'm going to keep doing it, because I want to look and feel great all the time.
People say its easy to take it off, but to maintain its hard. I guess we'll see, but I can't see myself gaining the weight back, too much mental energy used.
